WHAT WE DO

CHRISTMAS 2026

Foster One’s Christmas Program brings joy and hope to children within the child welfare system by ensuring they receive gifts tailored to their unique interests and needs. This initiative connects the community with foster, kinship, and biological families to make the holiday season brighter for everyone involved.

How It Works

Requesting Gifts: Families can submit a separate request form for each child within the child welfare system. These forms collect detailed information about the child’s preferences, hobbies, and sizes, ensuring gifts are personalized. Gifts are valued between $75–$100.

Donating Gifts: Community members can participate by donating new, unwrapped gifts. Donors are encouraged to shop thoughtfully to make each child feel special this holiday season.

Gift Pick-Up: Gifts are distributed on Saturday, December 14th, between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM at Substance Church in Spring Lake Park, MN. A designated person can pick up the gifts with proper identification.

Guidelines

  • Gifts are exclusively for children within the child welfare system.
  • Gift cards are not allowed; physical items are required.
  • All gifts are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
